Job Description

A full-time position in Berlin or EU remote. You'll work alongside the CTO & to turn product vision into reality. You'll be working closely with our engineering team in Berlin and overseeing the product delivery process. This is a key role with lots of room to grow. You’ll be part of our mission to empower everyone to be their own therapist and drive change in the world.

The role

You'll be the first product owner in the organization and work alongside the founders to turn the product vision into reality and further support the development of the product function within the organization.

  • You want to continuously improve the user experience and explore, through analytical findings, ways to make improvements along the customer journey.

  • You walk the fine line between business requirements and customer happiness.

  • You can balance the sensitive nature of our user experience alongside A/B testing new features and functionalities.

  • You are able to facilitate both the business needs for driving adoption whilst tackling the retention for a developing LTV.

  • You relentlessly pursue impact and quality.

  • You'll contribute to our product vision and maintain a laser focus on the customers' problem spaces.

  • You are driven by understanding the intrinsic motivations of our users (perhaps with previous experience in the field of mental health and digital therapy.)

About you

  • You've maintained a 'scrum/kanban' backlog, worked in agile environments and can build, edit, prioritize with input from developers and other stakeholders. Preferably you have experience working with iOS and Android teams

  • You write stellar user stories (including acceptance criteria), providing the necessary clarifications to assist the team with their estimates and sequencing.

  • You're fluent with design thinking methodologies to bring to life new product initiatives.

  • You understand how to monetize digital products.

  • You understand user-centric thinking and will collaborate extensively with UX on user funnels and customer problem spaces.

  • You're fluent in product analytics and understand sensitivities around tracking and monitoring.

  • You have a natural ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships with different business functions and stakeholders.

  • You have an agile mindset and are able to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.

  • You have 3-7 years of experience developing digital products, specifically mobile & subscription apps, digital consumer products, consumer platforms or CMS related products, in a fast-paced environment.

Hiring Process

We're looking for someone to join us as soon as possible. The interview process may vary per position, but we have certain steps that we follow that are important to us. 

1. Get to know each other

We use this call to tell you all about Bloom and share more about our vision. We also would love to hear your background and see if our expectations and your experience align.

2. Meet Team Lead

The team lead will ask about your experience and how you've worked in the past. If that's a fit, we'll send you a case study and give you 48 hours to be creative.

3. Culture Interview

You get to speak to 2-3 other team members to get a better sense of our culture and see if you'd enjoy helping our users and building a better culture with us. We value team fit and cultural values over everything else.

4. Final conversation

You'll have a final call with the Co-Founder & CEO to discuss the position again, the future, and anything else.

Going through all of the stages of the interview process can be as fast as one week. Once you've passed them all, we will extend a formal offer.
